This afternoon we went to the Science Centre in the harbour of Amsterdam. Uncle Cees
who lives in Amsterdam arrives on bike as well to go and have some fun together.
Science center NEMO is the biggest science center in The Netherlands. Here you can discover the world of science and technology in a playful and entertaining way. The building itself is worth a visit as well, you can go to the top floor and have a great view over Amsterdam and its harbour.
Joren and Kes love the Waterworks where you explore what kind of filtering system rainwater has to go through before it becomes drinking water, they start with a bucket of water and end with one, completely filtered and clean. The ball factory shows all the different aspects of a factory and they love the part where you have to check if the computer gets the sorting of the balls right. Furthermore we make somemegabubbles, play with electricity, magnets and light.
We have a coffee break on top of the building and play on the sloping deck and look out over Amsterdam.
